Wow! I hadn't considered Jews might be living in Iran - let alone peacefully. Thanks for pointing this article out.
I had a college friend from Iran who, at first, did not associate the English word "Jew" with Jews as he knew them back home. When I explained to him that I was a "Yehudi," he became excited and exclaimed, "You are Yehudi?? We have LOTS this kind people in Iran!! Auch, he is dress all in black and sleeps in box!! We call Dracula!" As a child, he had been taught that all Jews are vampires.
